Retrospective planning permission secured for the continued use of this former community use building and land for children’s nursery purposes - set within the grounds of an Age UK Day Centre.

Fundamental to the success of this application was arguing that the original planning permission for the building and associated land was for ‘multi-use’ purposes. This was used to add significant weight for it to continue to be used as a children’s nursery - providing a much-needed ‘local service’.

This planning permission has enabled an established local business to continue to operate oat the premises and in turn, provides local pre-school children with the unique opportunity to engage with the older population whilst also benefiting from the property’s unique woodland setting.
