Retrospective planning permission secured for the retention of a vehicular access, gates, track and associated hardstanding. The application was made in response to Wealden District Council’s Planning Enforcement Team issuing a letter regarding the alleged breach of planning control.

The need to secure permission for these works was considered to be of paramount importance to the land owners as, by virtue of their property’s constrained, corner location and a particularly limited amount of off-street space available, the need to create a safe vehicular access was vital.

After some negotiations with the County Highways Authority, retrospective planning permission for the already completed works was granted and the enforcement case subsequently closed.
