A Certificate of Lawfulness was successfully secured from Lambeth Council for the continued use of this three storey, semi-detached property as two self-contained flats – one within the property’s lower ground floor and the other, a maisonette over the upper ground and first floor levels.
In this instance, our clients acquired the property at auction - where it was being sold as a six-bedroom house. We subsequently collated a suite of evidence to support our claim that on the balance of probability, the property had been used as two self-contained dwellings for an uninterrupted period in excess of 10 years.
