Full planning permission secured from Arun District Council for the proposed erection of four new commercial units (Use Class E(g), B2 or B8), amended access & associated car parking.

This application sought to obtain planning permission for a development which had bene granted several years ago but not implement - so had expired. Since the original permission had been granted, a new Local Plan had been adopted so a slightly different tact needed to be taken.

Although some design concerns (primarily over parking provision) were initially raised by occupiers of some of the industrial estate’s existing occupiers and the County Highways Authority, negotiations were productive and a solution that satisfied all parties was eventually reached.
